Senior Accountant

Full-time

SUMMARY:

TELCOR is looking for an individual who is energetic, focused, motivated, upbeat and has a great sense of humor to become part of our accounting team as a Senior Accountant.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW:

Compute, classify, record and maintain data; verify accuracy of data; provide direction, training and evaluation of co-workers' performance of tasks; audit, evaluate and QA department production; prepare, analyze and verify statements, invoices and other records; supervise the quality and direction of objectives; comply with federal, state, company and departmental policies, procedures and regulations; provide a superior service experience for our customers and co-workers.

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related programs and at least two years of previous work-related experience in accounting and general business operations
  • Advanced computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office® programs and Web literate
  • Ability to work in an open environment and effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Solid analytical and organizational skills
  • Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and proficient in all aspects of business writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability as a strong team player
  • Innovative and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and accomplish objectives
