TELCOR Outreach Information System® v12.3
LINCOLN, Nebraska – June 9, 2009 – TELCOR Inc announces the release of version 12.3 of the Billing Information System. This version includes claim processing enhancements to allow claim submission to payers based on jurisdictional requirements for performing lab location vs. specimen collection location. Even more exciting, expected reimbursement monitoring tools have been added. Based upon payer expected reimbursement definitions, the remittance functions will automatically flag remittance exceptions for real-time monitoring. A Remittance Exception Workqueue allows review and approval of all exceptions. Reimbursement trends are further monitored via an enhancement to Claim Remittance Analysis.
With our continued commitment to technology product evolution, the application has been updated to utilize the Microsoft® .NET 3.5 framework. This framework upgrade facilitated other technology advances, which include: speed of export to Excel®, ability to export data to other file types, print preview via the standard Adobe PDF viewer, ability to hide/unhide columns of data presented in grids and migration to Crystal 2008.
Features of version 12.3 include:
- Unlimited Policy Number Formats – increased the number of policy number formats to handle all variance that may be defined by a payer, but still provide validation of policy numbers recorded
- Benefit Eligibility and Service Authorization Information – allow documentation of this information for each patient payer, with the ability to automatically use service authorization during claims submission to streamline account processing
- Jurisdictional Payer Assignment – automatic specific jurisdictional payer assignment based upon the performing lab or collection site when a company has locations in multiple states
- PQRI Procedures - ability to report PQRI procedures for Medicare quality assurance initiatives
- Purchased Service Cost Information - ability to include purchased service cost information for claim submissions dependent upon the performing lab and procedure cost data
- Claim Remittance Analysis - enhanced to improve analysis of reimbursement by payers – can present data based upon filters by ordering provider, client, procedure, CPT and advice codes
- Reimbursement Exception Workqueue - allows management of expected reimbursement exceptions to help ensure optimal reimbursement for work performed
- Create Receipt – provides an on-demand receipt when patients pay at the time of service, with supporting functions to review the receipts created and post payments
