IT Manager
National leader in health care informatics
TELCOR Inc is looking for an energetic, focused, motivated IT Manager to manage all activities and resources related to the TELCOR network (including but not limited to servers, workstations, phones, etc.), facilities and security.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in computer engineering or related field
- Proven experience in project management
- Experience with Microsoft Server 2003 and 2008 and majority of server applications not limited to the following
- Exchange E-mail 2007
- Web Services
- Active Directory
- Virtualization
- Experience in management and configuration of Cisco routers and switches
- Experience in management, implementation and maintenance of MS SQL Server and Terminal Services
- Proven experience in IT hardware procurement and vendor management
- Experience in budgets and purchasing
- Five (5) or more years experience in PC technical support
- Microsoft and Cisco certifications are a plus
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Networking
- Plans and implements additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure
- Oversees implementation of network security
- Oversees administration of the TELCOR network, all TELCOR remote access capabilities and the implementation of all customer remote access capabilities
- Telephony and Communications
- Oversees the planning and management of the company issued mobile phones and VOIP telephone system
- Investigates current offering and recommends upgrades/changes to our current systems
- Oversees the utilization of all tools utilized by the traveling staff (e.g. Garmin)
- Training & Maintenance
- Responsible for updated materials and resources for company-wide IT training to new and current employees
- Manages the Microsoft Gold Developer partnership requirements
- Help Desk Administration
- Oversees the management of corporate help desk activities and resolves escalated issues as required
- Oversees the administration and maintenance of tracking software
- Interacts with employees on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner
- Asset Management
- Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products
- Works with company IT executives to develop budgets and oversees all IT-related purchasing and budget usage
- Schedules and oversees all workstation reloads, ESX partition reloads and workstation replacements
- Leadership
- Facilitates team meetings effectively
- Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information through engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
- Management
- Recommends and implements with approvals, improvements in all areas of IT responsibility
- Identifies and provides standards for gathering information for use in trend analysis and reports information to IT executives
- Facilities
- Manages and oversees execution and resolution of all physical plant related activities and complaints
- Functions as the main TELCOR contact for third party vendors and with lease holder
- Security
- Oversees the development, modification and operation of the intrusion detection and prevention system designed to maintain the integrity of the company's IT infrastructure
- Oversees the management and operation of facility security
- Manages and oversees the implementation and maintenance of secure connections to all TELCOR customers used for implementation and on-going customer service and support
